Steps to Take After a Workplace Injury
- First, report your injury to your employer immediately.
- Second, visit a WCB-approved clinic such as Glenwood Sport & Spine.
- Finally, begin treatment and submit your claim – we’ll help with documentation.
Also, you can begin care even while your claim is pending. Once approved, WCB will retroactively cover all authorized services.
Chiropractic
Chiropractic is the cornerstone of our rehab program because most work-related injuries involve the spine and joints.
We commonly treat back injuries, neck pain, whiplash, and repetitive strain issues caused by lifting, falls, or poor workplace ergonomics.
Acupuncture
Acupuncture is a safe and effective method for managing pain and inflammation.
By stimulating specific points on the body, acupuncture improves circulation and promotes natural healing.
Therapeutic Exercises
We design customized exercise programs that focus on functional movement, flexibility, and strength.
Active rehabilitation supports long-term recovery, reduces risk of reinjury, and builds confidence in movement.
What to Expect During Your Visit
During your initial consultation, we will:
- Take a detailed history of the accident and your symptoms
- Perform a full physical examination and postural analysis
- Recommend imaging or refer you for X-rays if needed
- Create a personalized care plan approved for WCB
We prioritize patient education, ensuring you understand your injury, the proposed treatments, and how each therapy supports your healing process.
